Online Application Window for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) January 2024 Exam is open from November 3, 2023, to November 23, 2023
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for CTET January 2024 Exam, candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks [3: https://ctet.nic.in/].
How to Apply
- Visit the CTET official website – https://ctet.nic.in/.
- Click on the “Apply for CTET-Jan2024” link.
- Register yourself by providing your basic details such as name, date of birth, email address and mobile number.
- Fill in the online application form carefully and completely.
- Upload the required documents.
- Make the payment of the application fee through online mode.
- Submit the application form.
Important Dates
- Online Application Start Date: November 3, 2023
- Online Application Last Date: November 23, 2023
- Exam Date: January 21, 2024
- Admit Card Availability: Two days before the exam
Fee Structure
- General/OBC Category – ₹ 1000/-
- SC/ST Category – ₹ 500/-
- For Paper 1+2 – General/OBC Category – ₹ 1200/-
- SC/ST Category – ₹ 600/-
Exam Pattern
The CTET exam will be conducted in two papers:
- Paper 1: For candidates who want to teach classes 1 to 5.
- Paper 2: For candidates who want to teach classes 6 to 8.
Both papers will be of 3 hours duration and will consist of 150 questions each. The questions will be objective in nature and will be based on the syllabus prescribed for each paper.
Result Declaration
The results of the CTET January 2024 Exam are expected to be declared in February 2024.
